Catholic churches in Canadian Arctic territories

The Canadian Arctic territories consist of 3 regions. These are Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut. Apart from Nunavut, the other two are confederated for over a hundred year now. This region of Canada has many Catholic churches and the missions are sent frequently to make sure that the religion is preached. The best part of the missions is that they collaborate with the local churches to maximize the effects. The overall management of such missions is carried out by the locals as they contribute to making sure that the members of such missions sustain. The missions to these regions have also laid the foundation of many Catholic churches in the region. This tradition of sending the missions to this region is not new at all. It is because there are many churches which are more than 100 years old. British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan are the other important provinces of Canada to the South of these territories.
